The last half of February was unseasonably cold here and
the night time temperatures hovered between 0 and 3 Celsius. Too cool for RV living!! I kept moving the petunias under cover every
night, but now they are happy to be back out in the sun and night time temperatures
are in the low teens. The hummingbirds
have stayed faithful to our feeder and are less skittish than the ones at home.
We’ve been busy with our activities of pickleball,
billiards, tap dancing (not Stuart), some swimming and going to a movie occasionally. The days are flying by and we’re getting
close to only 3 weeks left. My tap dance
group is performing in front of an audience on March 16 so we’ve been having
extra practices to ensure we are ready.
It will be an interesting performance as we are all amateurs and “of a
certain age.” Stuart will likely take
some photos for me to post.
As we are going to leave the RV on this uncovered lot for
the summer, we are putting on a good coat of wax and I will be conditioning the
rubber roof next week. We enjoy having
jobs and projects to add to the play days.
This week, I re-stained the RV stairs that Stuart built and
they look almost new.
BEFORE
AFTER
We’ve been working on puzzles in between other things and
have a colourful one to show you. Hope
you like flip flops and Jello!!
Well, that’s all for now.
Will post again after the big performance.
