As usual half way through our winter, we are taking a
vacation from our vacation and drove over to the Palm Springs area last
Saturday.
The drive from Surprise took
about 4 hours and we are staying in a 2 bedroom condo in the city of La Quinta
which is at the eastern end of the populated area.
We played a few games of pickleball and went for an urban
hike on the day after we arrived. It is
warmer and more lush here than in Surprise.
On Monday, we golfed at Cathedral Canyon golf course with
friends of ours from Christina Lake and then again at their RV resort par 3
golf course yesterday. They are in Palm
Springs for 4 months and are enjoying their first winter down south.
BEEP BEEP?
Today is pickleball, some shopping and relaxing time at the
pool. Back to golf tomorrow. What a great vacation!!
