MORE PROJECTS AT OUR LOT

Well, we’ve continued to work on projects here and are enjoying them very much.  It’s not all work, though.  We’ve golfed three times, we’re both playing pickleball (Stuart more, me less) and I’ve had 3 tap dance classes.  It’s great to be here.

Again, the photos will tell the story.

Stairs before -- not fully supported by concrete

Reinforcing the bottom of the stairs

Simple concrete form but hard and sticky red dirt

Mixing concrete in the neighbour's wheelbarrow

Concrete poured

Concrete and stairs finished

 Old faucet in shed

New faucet in shed

Old sewer line set up had a long run

Now a shorter line with solid pipe

Connecting solid pipe is buried under the rock
The trench was 8 feet long and 20 inches deep

Remember the old stump?

Cutting it off with the reciprocating saw

Stump is all gone--it's ready for new decorations

Living Large Defined

After retiring from the BC Forest Service, selling their home in Kamloops and living at "no fixed address" for 10 months, Linda and Stuart bought a house in Grand Forks. They are now embracing life in this small community as well as Snowbirding south for the winter and are living "larger" than their dreams. This is Linda's blog of their adventures.
